Kidz Town Preschool is staffed and equipped to give the best care to each child and to help assist them in the process of learning.  All children are welcome regardless of race, sex, color, religious affiliation, and national or ethnic origin.

 As a Christian preschool, children will be surrounded by an environment that includes respect, love and appreciation for each person and for the wonders of God's world.  Each child will be encouraged to progress at his/her own rate toward enriched learning experiences, self-discipline, and the ability to make choices.

Our Focus

· Theme based curriculum

· Beginners Bible used for Bible lessons

· A Beka phonics

 

Focus on the following areas of development:

· Spiritual: helping each child become aware of God's love for him/her and his/her family.  We do this by including daily prayer and chapel services and by making use of teaching opportunities to teach scriptural principles and integrating Bible throughout the daily program.

· Intellectual: encouraging an enthusiasm for learning, exploring and discovering information firsthand.  Examples: math, science, cooking projects.

· Physical:  encouraging experiences which will develop large (gross) and small (fine) muscle coordination and motor skills.  Examples: fine motor - using writing utensils, cutting with scissors; gross motor - dance, group exercise, outdoor free play.

· Creativity:  giving every child the opportunity to use their imagination and express themselves through activities such as dramatic play, role playing, and open ended art projects.

· Social/Emotional: encouraging participation in group activities, getting along with others and developing a feeling of security and belonging; offering opportunities to experience a sense of accomplishment and independence.

· Language:  creating opportunities for children to develop their language and literacy skills with activities such as letter and name recognition, show and tell, nursery rhymes, and storytime.

Enrollment Procedure

· A drop in visit to the preschool with the child that will be enrolled.

· An enrollment appointment with Administrator or designee to receive  enrollment packet and parent handbook.  Non-refundable enrollment fee paid.

· Physician's report (form provided by preschool) completed by child's physician.

· Current immunization. (Verification of immunization  record).
